UH alumni are experts in a wide variety of fascinating topics. In one of the first installments of the new Holoholo Event Series, we invite you to delve into the history of beer brewing in Hawai‘i, featuring UH Mānoa alumni and Village Bottle Shop founders and owners Tim Golden and Daryn Ogino.
Join us for an immersive tasting experience including four 4 oz pours and a talk story session with Tim and Daryn on the rich and intriguing stories behind brewing in the state.
Tim Golden is a Certified Cicerone®, experienced home brewer and general beer lover. He is also a freelance beer writer, having been published in local and national publications. About the Holoholo Event Series
The Holoholo Series was created with the goal of changing the way alumni gather by celebrating the unique and powerful accomplishments of UH alumni. This series aims to uplift alumni, give their story a voice, and take guests off the beaten path to experience something new.
Each event takes the guest behind the scenes with academic, business, and University of Hawai‘i leaders to have an immersive, hands-on experience.
